Dream Pillows
Babies love to zoom around in a stroller or a wagon, and eventually through playing with cars and toy rocketships. This semester celebrates all the fun vehicles on a scale just right for babies. All those airplane sounds you make with a spoon during feeding time actually helps your baby learn language. You’ll learn how sounds like this can develop physical, social, cognitive, and emotional skills as well.
Zoom Buggy
Nightime, and all that goes with it, is an important part of babies routine. We celebrate the evening routines, the moon, and the stars, and the beautiful voices that babies hear soothing them. There are some fabulous lullabies, but don’t be fooled, the fun activities of this semester will NOT put YOU to sleep.

Milk & Cookies
Yummy! Using a favorite snack as a class theme, we’ll give you songs and stories to bring more music into daily routines with your toddlerif it’s going to the store, baking cookies, or spending time together in the kitchen. Each activity was carefully created to help your toddler build confidence, self-control, and social skills. The instrument is a wooden stir-xylophone. The case is a vinyl, Velcro insulated lunch bag you’ll use long after this class is over.

Hello Weather, Let's Play Together
Introduces children to the world of weather. We begin with the sun rising, and waking up to the crowing of a Rooster (in Spanish), and make our merry way through windy weather, rainfall, scary stormy weather, and even end off the semester by playing in snow and ice skating. Honest! You can do amazing things in the world of the imagination!
Our weather play is enhanced by the instruments that come with the materials. We enjoy wearing our ANKLE BELLS as we join the Native Americans in their dance to honor the sun, and call forth the rain. And the various sounds that are made with the WOODEN RAIN SHAKER accent the songs we use about rain and thunderstorms. The play set includes 6 large scenes covered with slick surfaces, and lots of re-usable stickers that are relevant to the many themes of this semester, including three little kittens and many types of clothes for them to wear in the different types of weather. Fun, Fun!

Semester Three: Appalachian music is a featured musical style this semester. First, you and your child will build a two-stringed dulcimer instrument with materials that we'll provide. Then in class we'll learn to play chords and simple melodies on the instrument you built together. We'll also explore rhythm concepts through dance with an introduction to the basic steps in jazz, ballet, and tap dances. Your Home Materials include dulcimer-making materials, activity cards, and music that features recordings from Appalachia, African-America, and Native American music, as well as the Western Art music of the Nutcracker Suite.

Kindermusik has brought the unparalleled benefits of music web-content education to private music studios around the world, delighting both children and parents with our creative and developmentally appropriate musical activities for over 35 years. Kindermusik@School, our research-based program designed especially for schools, brings the same benefits of music education to the classroom. Easy-to-implement lessons help teachers meet the needs of every child at each of five developmental levels. Each lesson fosters whole-child development, builds school readiness, and introduces the joy and power of music into virtually any early childhood learning setting.
And Kindermusik@School is effective: results from a recent independent research study showed that preschoolers who participated in a Kindermusik@School curriculum for as little as 30 minutes each week showed a 32% greater gain in early language and literacy skills than the control group.
The Kindermusik@School curricula align with standards for high-quality early childhood education, including: Common Core State Standards, Head Start and Early Head Start Standards and Frameworks, the Infant/Toddler Environment Rating Scale (ITERS), the Early Childhood Environment Rating Scale (ETERS), and the Classroom Assessment Scoring System (CLASS®) Pillars.
